With 25 years of extensive experience in youth and community development, she has collaborated with local voluntary agencies, Greater Manchester Police, and local authorities. Her pivotal contributions to the Ritchie report on the riots highlighted her expertise, leading her to serve as a key advisor to Baroness Newlove, various ministers, and home secretaries. Additionally, her involvement with the Department for Communities and Local Government, alongside numerous community initiatives across the UK, showcases her commitment to building resilient, united communities that thrive on diversity and cooperation.
